The Speaker of the Senate, Sen Kenneth Lusaka held a consultative meeting with UNDP Resident Representative, Siddharth (Sid) Chatterjee who called on him in his Parliament Buildings Office. The talks centred on a proposed model by the UNDP for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) partly through the employment of an “army of Community Health Workers”. Speaker Lusaka assured Sid of the Senate’s commitment and support to the realization of UHC.
