The National Assembly's Committee on Public Petitions Chaired by Hon. Nimrod Mbai met the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) Ag. Chief Executive Officer Dr. Samson Muhora and National Parents Association (BPA) Chair Mr. David Obuhatsa to discuss the implementation of the Edu-Afya Medical Scheme for Public Secondary Schools. .

The National Assembly's Public Petition Committee on Monday 24thApril 2023 conducted an inspection visit of the stalled Kibera Housing Project and Mukuru Kwa Njenga stalls. The visit is a result of a petition filed by residents living along the railway line, whose homes were demolished to create a buffer for the railway line.

The National Assembly’s Committee on Public Petition heard submissions from the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Statehouse Comptroller regarding a petition on the Funds spent contrary to Article 223 of the Constitution.
