The Senate Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare Committee Chaired by West Pokot Senator Julius Murgor held a meeting today

 to consider the public participation matrixes on the following Bills before the Committee. 

1. Persons with Disabilities Bill, 2023

2. Heritage and Museums Bill, 2023 

On the Persons with Disabilities Bill, 2023, the submissions were received from the Council of Governors, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, Transparency International, Digital Assessibility for Persons with Disabilities KICTANet, Amazing Grace Bawo Foundation, Dennis Ochieng' Orengo Juma, Consortium of Disabled Persons Organizations in Kenya(CDPOK), Timothy W. Mwangi, Kesho Kenya and Nathaniel Mtunji. 

Submissions on the Heritage and Museums Bill, 2023 were received from National Museums of Kenya, the Council of Governors, Nature Kenya, Turkana Basin Institute and the Attorney General.
