The National assembly Committee on Social Protection chaired by Hon. Alice Ng'ang'a (Thika Town) hosted their counterparts from the Zambian National Assembly's Committee on Youth, Sports and Child matters.

The 12-Member delegation is in the country for a 4-day visit. The delegation made courtesy calls to National Assembly leadership offices before holding a meeting with the Social Protection Committee.

Hon. Ng'ang'a took the delegation through the mandate of the Committee and the milestones the Committee has achieved with regards children, youth, elderly and disabled. She thanked the delegation for their choice of Kenya as a destination for benchmarking and the opportunity to learn more on the legislative agenda.

The delegation is led by Mr. Sydney Mushanga MP (Chairperson of the delegation) and Ms. Emelda Munashabantu MP (Vice Chairperson).
