Personal Bio

Senator Tabitha Mutinda Munene is an ardent environmental ideologue and an early exponent to women and gender mainstreaming. As an illustrious business acumen, she serves as the Director and Chief Executive Officer, Novamont Kenya Limited.

 She is the current serving Vice-President of the World Scout Parliamentary Union (WSPU) Kenya Chapter and the Vice Chair of the Senate Finance and Budget Committee. She also seats in service as a member of the Senate Business Committee, Senate Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Committee and oversights the County Public Investment and Special Funds.

Senator Tabitha Mutinda Munene holds a Masters Degree in Business Management and anon a PhD in Business Development. She is a skilled linchpin in Coalition Business Network Infrastructure and engages with PMG groups to identify emerging areas, list upcoming projects prior to assignment, identify any kind of dependency, coordinate partnership efforts between counties and other state and local agencies,  facilitates oversight and influence technical reviews for milestone assessments.

Senator Tabitha describes herself as “people centric but pulled politically leftist”.
