The National Assembly Resumes to a Busy Second Session

The National Assembly is set to resume from the long recess on Tuesday 14th February 2023, to a busy Second Session of the 13th Parliament. 

The session is set to benefit from the strengthened and enhanced knowledge on parliamentary practices and procedures imparted on the lawmakers during the recent Induction of House Committees and the Post-Election Seminar co-hosted by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) in Mombasa, Kenya two weeks ago.

President Dr. William Ruto rooted for  constructive synergy among arms of government as a viable means of deploying the respective leadership capacities to address the issues that matter to Kenyans. He was speaking this morning when he opened the Post-Election Seminar for the Members of the National Assembly at the PrideInn Beach Resort, Convention Centre and Spa, in Mombasa County.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO HOLD POST-ELECTION SEMINAR FOR MEMBERS

The National Assembly will starting tomorrow hold a four-day Post Election Seminar (PES) for Members in conjunction with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). The event which as per practice within the Commonwealth fraternity takes place at the beginning of the term of every Parliament, will be officially opened by H.E. President Dr. William S. Ruto who is also expected to make a key note address. The seminar which will be held at the Pride-inn Paradise Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa, will run from 30th January to 2nd February, 2023.
