Speaker Lusaka Lauds Kenya-Sudan Relations as Envoy's Tour of Duty Draws to an End
NAIROBI, 11 July - The Speaker of the Senate, Rt Hon Kenneth Lusaka has hailed Kenya-Sudan bilateral relations.
Speaking when the Ambassador of Sudan in Kenya, HE Elsadig A Elias paid him a courtesy call at his Parliament Buildings Office, Lusaka stated that the two countries benefit from strong political and economic cooperation.
"As your tour of duty comes to an end in August, I thank you for the contributions you have made to boost relations between our countires and give you my assurances that we shall deepen relations with your successor going forward," said the Senate Speaker.
HE Elias noted that Kenya plays a big role in advancing peace and economic growth in the region.
