National Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon (Dr.) joined President Dr. William Ruto at the State House where he hosted the Hindu Community for Diwali Celebrations.

Hon. Wetang'ula said hosting the Diwali celebrations at the State House for the first time was a great honour to the Hindu community.

"The President's decision to host these celebrations at the State House highlights his commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting the rights of all communities in Kenya," said Hon Wetang'ula.

The Speaker I encouraged the community to embrace their sense of belonging in Kenya saying Kenya is their home and nation.

He pointed out that the Hindu community has significantly contributed to our country's development and economic growth, strengthening the fabric of our society.
