The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations Committee has visited the Kenya Airforce Headquarters at the Moi Airbase in Eastleigh, Nairobi to inspect the facility. .

Members led by Chairperson Hon. Nelson Koech (Belgut),  received a brief on the history, broad mandate and operations of the Kenya Airforce.

Kenya Airforce Commander Major General John Omenda, outlined the major challenges they face and took Members on a guided tour of the facility.

Hon. Koech said the Committee would escalate the needs and challenges mentioned through a Report to be tabled in  the House in order for solutions to be found. 

"This is a very important entity and I can assure you that this Committee will do its best to support you," said Hon. Koech.
