The President of the Republic of South Africa His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, this afternoon visited the Mausoleum of the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, located within the precincts of Parliament to pay his respect.  President Ramaphosa was received at the Mausoleum by the Speaker of the National Assembly the Rt. Hon. (Sen.) Moses Masika Wetang'ula together with his Senate counterpart the Rt. Hon. (Sen.) Amason Jeffah Kingi.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is in the Country for a two - day State visit for bilateral talks with his host President William Ruto.

The Speakers of the two Houses of Parliament of Kenya expressed gratitude for the kind gesture extended to Parliament by the visting Head of State noting that the two legislatures have enjoyed great relationships and engagement which is expected to be nurtured and expanded in line with Parliamentary Diplomacy.
