The National Assembly, last week adopted the Report of the Departmental Committee on Health on its consideration of the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). This facilitates Kenya's integration into a network of vaccine producers, consortia, and health researchers.

The Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee chaired by Hon. Lydia Haika (Taita Taveta) met virtually with Mr. Muhsin Suleiman, a Kenyan residing in Istanbul, Turkey, in an inquiry into the effectiveness of consular services offered to Kenyans in the Diaspora by Kenyan Embassies and high commissions across the world.

The Select Committee on Parliamentary Broadcasting and Library chaired by Hon. Daniel Nanok (Turkana West)  with representatives from the State Department for Parliamentary Affairs to receive submissions on the Public Participation Bill, 2023.
