Senator Allan Chesang is the current Trans Nzoia Senator, Chairperson of the Standing Senate ICT Committee and member of the Agriculture and Livestock. Prior to joining the senate, he was the CEO of Transcentury Global and Uplift Group of companies, he is also the founder and chairman of the Allan Chesang Foundation.

Senator Allan Chesang has over 10 years in the education sector working as the patron of KUSA ( Kenya University Student Association). He has excellent knowledge of Governance, Strategic Thinking, Collaboration and as well as ICT. He has also been a Media Personality, Political and Business Strategy expert.

Senator Allan Chesang holds a degree in BBM(Business Management) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He also currently pursuing his Master of Science in Management (MSM) Degree.

Senator Allan Chesang is proud to represent the people of Trans Nzoia, known as the breadbasket of Kenya. Growing up as a farmer from a tender age, he has a deep appreciation for the critical role that agriculture plays in the region's economy and the livelihoods of its people. As a senator, he has made it his mission to advocate for policies and programs that support the growth and sustainability of the agricultural sector in Trans Nzoia and beyond. He understands the challenges that farmers face, from access to financing and markets to climate change and pest management, and is committed to working with stakeholders at all levels to address them. Through his leadership and dedication, Senator Allan Chesang is helping to ensure that Trans Nzoia remains a thriving hub of agricultural innovation and prosperity for generations to come.
