Hon. Jane Maina (Kirinyaga) has moved a Motion on the introduction of comprehensive health, wellness and sex education in the curriculum as a core subject in schools by the National Government through the State Department of Basic Education.

The National Assembly Committee on Health and the Committee on Agriculture and Livestock jointly conducted a meeting with various stakeholders to discuss the Food & Feed Safety Co-ordination Control Bill. The session was co-chaired by Hon. Dr. Robert Pukose, the Chair of the Health Committee, and Hon. Brighton Yegon, the Vice Chair of the Agriculture and Livestock Committee.

The National Assembly Public Accounts Committee (PAC) questioned the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on its decision to advertise the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) internally.  

During a session chaired by Hon. Wilberforce Oundo (Funyula) the Committee questioned the Commission's rationale behind advertising such a crucial position internally.

EACC CEO Mr. Twalib Mbarak appeared before the watchdog Committee to respond to  audit queries for the Financial Year 2020/2021.

The National Assembly Sports and Culture Committee has urged the Kenya National Olympic Council to improve its preparations for Kenya's participation in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, scheduled to take place in July2024.

Led by the Committee's Chair, Hon. Daniel Wanyama (Webuye West), a former team Kenya Captain, the Committee voiced its concerns during a meeting with representatives from the Kenya National Olympic Council and the Kenya National Sports Council. The main agenda of the meeting was to assess the preparedness of team Kenya.

The National Assembly Public Investments Committee on Commercial Affairs and Energy has grilled Family Bank Chief Executive Officer  Ms. Rebecca Mbithi over failure to recover Kshs. 45.2 Million Pasha Loans advanced to entrepreneurs to set up information hubs across the country.

The Committee led by Chairperson Hon. David Pkosing (Pokot South) met the Bank CEO, as part of an ongoing probe into circumstances leading to the onboarding of Family Bank by Information, Communication Technology Authority (ICTA) to advance the said loans on November 3, 2010.
