The Senate County Public Investment and Special Funds Committee today held a meeting with the County Executive of Nandi to interrogate reports of the Auditor-General on the financial statements of the Nandi County Education Fund; the Nandi County Executive Car Loan and Mortgage Scheme Fund; and the Nandi County Emergency Fund for the years ended 30th June 2020, 30th June 2021, and 30th June 2022 

The Governor for Nandi County, H.E. Stephen Sang appeared before the Committee to respond to the issues raised by the Auditor-General on the financial statements of the afore-mentioned funds. 

The Sen. Osotsi led Committee noted that the Fund Administrator for Nandi County Education Fund had not submitted financial statements on the fund for the financial year 2016/2017 and directed the county to submit the said financial statements to the Committee, the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) and the Controller of Budget (COB)
