The National Assembly Public Investments Committee on Governance and Education wants the Management of the University of Eldoret investigated for financial misappropriation, and face prosecution if found culpable. 

Led by Chairperson Hon. Wanami Wamboka (Bumula), the Audit committee today undertook an inspection tour of the University’s stalled Amphitheatre project valued at Kshs. 373Million, whose construction commenced on 10 June, 2019 and was expected to be completed on 14 December, 2020.

Eighteen lawmakers' have been appointed to represent the National Assembly in two Mediation
Committees which have been tasked developing agreed upon versions of the National Disaster Risk Management Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 24 of 2023) and the Startup Bill (Senate Bill No. 14 of 2022).

Making the announcement in the House on 19th August 2025, Speaker of the National
Assembly Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang’ula reminded Members that the Bills had been referred
to mediation following amendments made by the two Houses.
