The Senate Business Committee consist of –

  1. the Speaker as the Chairperson,
  2. the Leader of the Majority Party/ Coalition,
  3. the Leader of the Minority Party/ Coalition; and
  4. not more than nine other Senators, reflecting the relative majorities of the seats held by each of the parliamentary parties/ coalitions in the Senate, who shall be nominated by the parliamentary parties/ coalitions and approved by the Senate at the commencement of every Session.
