The National Assembly may soon have to extend its sitting hours to clear the backlog of Private Members Bills.
The National Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang'ula told the House that one suggestion for the House to enable it clear pending business is to sit for longer sitting hours and the likelihood of introduction of Thursday morning sittings.
"To all Members with queuing business at the Table Office and in the House be available on short notice to prosecute your business," said Hon. Wetang'ula.
