BUNGE FELLOWSHIP CHOIR STEALS THE SHOW AT THE 20TH ANNUAL NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST EVENT WITH A SPLENDID PERFORMANCE

Bunge Fellowship Choir stole the show during the 20th Annual National Prayer Breakfast organized by the Parliament of Kenya at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.

Led by the Majority Party Whip Hon. Silvanus Osoro, the choir took the stage by storm, with their remarkable renditions of popular hymns.

"Your Excellency, this is the Bunge Fellowship Choir. We practice once a week, every Wednesday. This is not the usual Bunge choir that we know in every prayer breakfast," said Hon. Osoro before the choir took the stage.

The male Members of the choir exuded elegance, clad in crisp white shirts, black trousers, and bold red ties, while their female counterparts wore matching blouses and skirts, most of them adorning red scarves.

As Hon. Osoro skillfully played the keyboard, the choir enchanted the audience with their sweet melodies, starting with the timeless classic, 'Amazing Grace.'

Their sweet melodies resonated through the venue, perfectly capturing the essence of the annual event. The President His Excellency (Dr.) William Ruto, Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, Speaker Rt. Hon. (Dr) Moses Wetang'ula and other leaders at the VIP table joined in the singing.

All the Members of Parliament present took to the podium, led by Hon. Faith Gitau (Nyandarua), a choir member herself. Together, they belted out the well-known Twasema asante worship song.

Hon. Osoro-led choir surprised everyone with their final act before Chief Guest Dr. Michael Hastings of Scarisbrick from the United States House of Lords took to the stage.

They performed a breathtaking rendition of "Sioni haya kwa Bwana" which is song No.82 from the Swahili Tenzi za Rohoni hymn book, leaving those in attendance in awe, moved by the power and emotion that emanated from every note.

The Bunge Fellowship Choir undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the attendees of the Annual National Breakfast, with the Members of Parliament's exceptional passion for music creating a joyful and unforgettable experience.
