Embakasi West MP, Hon. Mark Mwenje has requested for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security regarding fires that have destroyed several markets within Nairobi City County.

The National Assembly has withdrawn the Livestock Bill, 2024 to enable the State Department of Livestock conduct comprehensive public participation on the Bill.

The National Assembly on Thursday, August 7, 2024, debated and approved the Report by the Committee on Appointment that carried out the vetting.

In the Report one nominee, Ms. Stella Soi Lang'at - nominee CS, Gender, Culture, The Arts & Heritage was not approved for appointment.
