The Senate, through the Standing Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights, has invited interested members of the public to submit representations on the suitability of Hon. Fatuma Ibrahim Ali, who has been nominated for appointment as a Member of the Parliamentary Service Commission under Article 127(2)(d) of the Constitution. The position is among those reserved for persons with experience in public affairs who are not Members of Parliament.

Written representations should be made on oath, supported by relevant evidence, and submitted to the Clerk of the Senate by Friday, 25th September 2026 at 5.00 p.m.
