The Clerk

The office of Clerk of the National Assembly is provided for in Article 128 of the Constitution. The Parliamentary Schemes of Service provide that the Clerk shall be:-

The SAA in liaison with the Media Relations will regulate media activities in Parliament and enforce Speaker’s rules on broadcasting of Parliament sessions. The SAA shall;

Establishment.

The Speaker of the Sente, Rt Hon Kenneth Lusaka, Wednesday, 6th June 2018 attended the State Opening of the Third Session of the Tenth Parliament of the Republic of Uganda and the State of the Nation Address by HE Gen Yoweri Museveni.

At the end of the address Speaker Lusaka noted that "the State of the Nation is strong and the forecast is optimistic."

HE Museveni's Address highlighted the Government's achievements and its future plans. 

The President announced that his Government would revive Uganda Airlines.
