The National Assembly this afternoon welcomed six newly elected Members of Parliament, who took their Oath of Office.

The swearing-in, presided over by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, is in accordance with Article 74 of the Constitution and Standing Order 3(2), which mandate that a person must take the oath before performing the functions of an Member of Parliament.

The Members are;

(1) 𝘏𝘰𝘯. 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘒𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘦 - 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘪 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺

(2) 𝘏𝘰𝘯. 𝘈𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘮 𝘏𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘯 - 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘢 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺
